Abstract
This Part of the Code of Federal Regulations governs the specified (incidental) taking of marine mammals: Taking Marine Mammals Incidental to Southwest Fisheries Science Center Fisheries Research in the California Current; Taking Marine Mammals Incidental to Southwest Fisheries Science Center Fisheries Research in the Eastern Tropical Pacific; Taking Marine Mammals Incidental to Southwest Fisheries Science Center Fisheries Research in the Antarctic. Letters of authorization are required for such (incidental) taking and monitoring, reporting and mitigation requirements are prescribed.
