Abstract
This Subpart F provides the regulatory structure for enabling environmentally sound and economically sustainable aquaculture in the Gulf of Mexico Exclusive Economic Zone. The Subpart concerns: authorisations and permits for operating an aquaculture facility in the Gulf Exclusive Economic Zone; permit-related procedures; fees; record keeping and reporting; landing information; entanglements and interactions with marine mammals, endangered species, or migratory birds; allowable aquaculture species, including: pelagic fish, spiny lobster; aquaculture operations and inspection for protected species; fishing gear stowage requirement.
