Abstract
This Subpart Q define several habitat management areas where fishing activities are restricted or prohibited, in order to ensure the enforcement of habitat protection measures. Special exemptions concern vessels fishing exclusively with lobster traps, vessels fishing surf-clams with hydraulic clam dredge gears, and vessels in transit. The Regulations specify: dedicated habitat research areas; deep-sea coral protection areas.
