50 CFR § 80.1 - 80.160 - Financial Assistance-Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program - Administrative Requirements, Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration and Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Act.

This Part of Title 50 provides for the guidance to the States on how to: (I) use revenues derived from State hunting and fishing licenses in compliance with the Acts; (II) receive annual apportionments from the Federal Aid to Wildlife Restoration Fund, if authorized, and the Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund; (III) receive financial assistance from the Wildlife Restoration program, the Basic Hunter Education and Safety subprogram, and the Enhanced Hunter Education and Safety grant program, if authorized; (IV) receive financial assistance from the Sport Fish Restoration program, the Recreational Boating Access subprogram, the Aquatic Resources Education subprogram, and the Outreach and Communications subprogram; and (V) comply with the requirements of the Acts.
This Part also lays down regulations regarding the eligibility of the fish and wildlife agencies of the States to receive the benefits of the Acts; revenues from hunting and fishing licenses, permits, stamps, tags, access and use fees, and other State charges to hunt or fish for recreational purposes; certification of the number of people having paid licenses to hunt and to fish; eligible activities for funding under the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act and the Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Act; allocation of funds by the fish and wildlife agencies; application of an agency for a grant and the grantee’s responsibilities; appeal to the Director’s or Regional Director’s decision on any matter subject to this part by the agency; and information collection requirements of each State fish and wildlife agency.
