Appropriation (Utah Code: Title 73 Water and Irrigation; Chapter 3)

This chapter of the Utah Code concerns appropriation of water. It provides that an appropriation may be made only for a useful and beneficial purpose. It further provides for the procedural matters of an application for appropriation and the state institutions’ review of such application.
