Abstract
Part 1140 of Title 21 of the Federal Code of Regulations defines many issues regarding the cigarettes and smokeless tobacco in terms of safetty, production, processing, marketing and labelling, and legal restrictions.
This Regulation also sets out the restrictions under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act on the sale, distribution, and use of cigarettes and smokeless tobacco that contain nicotine.
