Abstract
The Department of Energy's 2021 Federal Climate Adaptation Plan is a national cross-sectoral action plan of the United States. Its main objectives are to assess vulnerabilities and implement resilience solutions at the Department sites; enhance climate adaptation and mitigation co-benefits at the Department sites; institutionalize climate adaptation and resilience across the Department’s policies, directives, and processes; provide climate adaptation tools, technical support, and climate science information; advance deployment of emerging climate resilient technologies; update climate vulnerability assessments; enhance climate literacy in the Department’s management workforce; enhance climate resilience for climate-ready sites and facilities; and ensure a climate-ready supply of products and services.
