Abstract
Part 570 of Title 21 of the Federal Code of Regulations define the food safety issues regarding the food additives and their controlled and safe use, in particular for substances used as packaging materials or animal feed residues in food.
This Regulation also provides rules aimed to define the use and additional terms for indirect food additives resulting from packaging materials for animal feed and pet food; and pesticide chemicals in processed foods.
