Abstract
Part 180 of Title 21 of the Federal Code of Regulations defines various issues regarding the food additives which use is permitted in food or in contact with foodstuff on an interim basis and with pending additional study that is necessary.
This Regulation also determines the specific requirements for certain food additives (such as acrylonitrile copolymers; mannitol; brominated vegetable oil; saccharin, ammonium saccharin, calcium saccharin, and sodium saccharin).
