Abstract
Part 174 of Title 21 of the Federal Code of Regulations provides for rules defining the conditions under which food additive substances may be safely used (under conditions of good manufacturing practice).
This Regulation closely defines the general provisions applicable to indirect food additives; and threshold of regulation for substances used in food-contact articles.
