Abstract
Part 176 of Title 21 of the Federal Code of Regulations provides for rules defining the use of indirect food additives such as paper and paperboard components.
This Regulation closely determines the provisions related to the use of acrylamide-acrylic acid resins; alkyl ketene dimers; anti-offset substances; chelating agents used in the manufacture of paper and paperboard; chromium; components of paper and paperboard in contact with aqueous and fatty foods; components of paper and paperboard in contact with dry food; defoaming agents used in coatings; defoaming agents used in the manufacture of paper and paperboard; dimethyl-htetrahydrothiadiazine; hydroxyhexadecane; pulp from reclaimed fiber; slimicides; sodium nitrate-urea complex; tamarind seed kernel powder.
