Abstract
Part 105 of Title 21 of the Federal Code of Regulations (Infant food formula) defines the specific criteria (quality control) to be applied on infant foods in terms of food formula, safety needs and requirements, additional manufacturing provisions, quality issues, and nutrient/nutritional requirements to be observed.
This Regulation also provides issues for: Status and applicability of the quality control procedures; Ingredient control; In-process control; Finished product evaluation; and Coding.
