Abstract
Part 107 of Title 21 of the Federal Code of Regulations (Infant formula) provides various issues related to the infant food formula, including the food intended for commercial or charitable distribution that is represented and labelled for use by infants who have inborn errors of metabolism or low birth weight, or who otherwise have unusual medical or dietary problems.
This Regulation also provides rules and provisions for: Nutrient information; Directions for use; Exemptions; Nutrient Requirements; Nutrient specifications; Infant Formula Recalls; Food and Drug Administration-required recall procedure issues; Firm-initiated product removals; Scope and effect of infant formula recalls; Elements of an infant formula recall; Notification requirements; Termination of an infant formula recall; Revision of an infant formula recall; Compliance and data collection.
