National Saltwater Recreational Fisheries Implementation Plan 2015-2018.

This National Saltwater Recreational Fisheries Implementation Plan moves from the consideration of the National Saltwater Recreational Fisheries Policy, in order to present tangible actions to advance the application of the six guiding principles. Thus, targeted measures and actions concern: marine and coastal ecosystems protection; focus on watershed-scale habitat activities; ecosystem approach to ensuring sustainable fisheries; support angler habitat conservation efforts; promoting awareness of quality fishing opportunities through new information and tools; balancing conservation, public access, and economic and social benefits; addressing some of the most pressing environmental issues through innovative solutions and techniques.
