Abstract
The Social Security Administration's 2021 Federal Climate Adaptation Plan is a national cross-sectoral action plan of the United States. Its main objectives are to prepare for increased disruptions to the power supply from the electricity grid from storms or heatwaves; plan backup water supply to respond to reduced water supply for facilities; plan backup water supply to respond to reduced water supply for facilities; prepare for coastal flooding, including increased flooding or inundation in coastal locations; prepare for increased flooding in non-coastal locations; prepare for increased disruptions and damage to transportation infrastructure; and prepare for increased disruptions and damage to transportation infrastructure.
