Abstract
The Parties, for the purpose of preventing loss of crops, migration of locusts and other agricultural pests and diseases to and from their territory, have agreed to carry out the following plant protection arrangements: (a) in situ inspection by experts of habitats of locusts and pests, and also hotbeds of diseases; (b) application of pesticides and use of methods and technologies for combating locusts, pests and diseases; and (c) exchange of information related to the propagation of locusts, pests and diseases.

This Agreement enters into force on the date of signing.
Notes
This Agreement shall be valid for five years and shall be automatically renewed for one or more five-year periods unless, six months prior to the end of any such period, either Party terminates the Agreement by written notice to the other.
