Abstract
The purpose of this Agreement is the cooperation and exchange of information on city and regional land use planning and environmental protection. The Parties shall cooperate on: (a) exchange of economic information; (b) joint participation in exhibitions and congresses; (c) city development and land use planning; (d) environmental protection, including water quality improvement, construction of sewage treatment works, soil rehabilitation and reduction of air pollution; (e) organization of public services and amenities; and (f) protecting their populations against emergencies and natural disasters.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement enters into force on the date of its signature.
Notes
This Agreement shall be valid for five years and shall be automatically extended for one or more five-year periods unless, six months prior to the end of any such period, either Party provides the other with written notice of termination.
