Abstract
The Contracting Parties shall cooperate in the sphere of environmental protection, mitigation of the consequences of natural disasters and accidents, and also for the solution of the global and regional ecological problems (art. 15). The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation for fighting epidemics, epizootic diseases and other infectious animal diseases (art. 17).

The Agreement entered into force on 25 April 1997.
Notes
The present Agreement shall be valid for ten years and it will be automatically extended for one or more ten-year periods, unless a year before its expiry one of the Parties informs the other, in writing, of its decision to terminate it.
