Decision No. PP-3029 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to improve the management of the agricultural engineering industry.”

The President establishes determine priority areas of development assigned to JSC "Uzagrotehsanoatholding": (a) implementation of systematic marketing research of internal and foreign markets, coordination of production and supply of various types of modern, in-demand technology and mechanization for agriculture, ensuring the introduction of resource-saving agricultural technologies, including horticulture, viticulture, vegetable growing, melon growing and animal husbandry; (b) increasing the competitiveness of manufactured agricultural equipment, expansion of the range and volumes of export products; (c) organization of production and provision of necessary material and technical resources and spare parts for agricultural mechanical engineering; (d) carrying out scientific, technical and investment activities in the field of agricultural engineering, aimed at creating new and modernization of existing manufacturing facilities for the manufacturing of modern high-performance agricultural machinery and mechanization equipment through the introduction of modern energy and metal saving technologies; and (e) development and coordination of scientific, technical and production cooperation between organizations that are part of JSC "Uzagrotehsanoatholding" and other organizations. JSC "Uzagroleasing" shall be responsible for: (a) diversification and expansion of leasing activities ensuring the priority of activities in the agricultural sector; (b) introduction of modern types that meet international standards of leasing services and innovative financial products; and (c) attracting foreign credit lines and international funds of the financial institutions to finance leasing projects of the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, the real sector of the economy and entrepreneurship.
