Decree No. 114 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures for further increase of melon production in Khorezm region.”

This Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers establishes that local government together with the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Committee for Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre must undertake measures for gradual increase of melon cultivation on reserve land, the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academy of Sciences, Council of Farmers, together with local government must ensure the production of seeds of export varieties of melons for outdoor areas and greenhouses. Annexes contain forecasts for melon production for the period of 2019-2020.
