Presidential Decree No. UP-840 “On the transformation of the state concern “UZKHLEBOPRODUKT” into the state joint-stock corporation “UZKHLEBOPRODUKT”.

The President decrees to transform the state concern “UZKHLEBOPRODUKT” into the state joint-stock corporation “UZKHLEBOPRODUKT”. The main tasks of “UZKHLEBOPRODUKT” shall be as follows: (a) production and provision of the national economy and population with grain, flour, cereals, bread, bakery, pasta and confectionery products, compound feed; (b) organization of work to improve production technology, expansion, reconstruction and technical re-equipment of enterprises engaged in flour processing and production of bakery and other products; (c) ensuring the purchase of grain, varietal and hybrid grain seeds, and other agricultural commodities, their supply for government needs and on orders from other consumers; (d) centralized accumulation, rational territorial compensation and storage of grain resources, including state and mobilization resources; (e) organization of intra-system movement of grain, flour, cereals, bran and mixed feed for an uninterrupted supply of bread and bakery products to all regions of the country; (f) development of market relations in the grain products system, organization of work to transform state enterprises and organizations into joint-stock, collective and other forms of ownership, providing all possible support for the development of entrepreneurship, the creation of joint ventures; and (g) carrying out a unified scientific, technical and technological policy, studying the conditions of the domestic and foreign markets, carrying out foreign economic activities.
