Presidential Decree No. PP-214 “On additional measures to ensure employment of the population through the development of cotton-textile and grain-growing clusters, as well as home-based work in the Bukhara region in 2023-2025.”

The President, in order to transform the Bukhara region into a production center and export of textile and handicraft products through support for entrepreneurship, associations of small businesses entrepreneurship and homeworkers around cities formed by clusters of production enterprises, further development of cooperation in the field of handicrafts in the Bukhara region, as well as providing population of the region with income-generating jobs, decrees to determine the Bukhara region in region with complete employment in 2023-2025. The scope is to create creating homeworking centers and combining them into one chain with cotton-textile and grain-growing clusters; ensuring employment of the population by improving the business environment and support for entrepreneurship in local communities; expansion of production, development of handicrafts, as well as spheres of trade and services through the creation of infrastructure; creating new jobs, as well as increasing production of agricultural commodities through efficient use of land and water resources.
