Presidential Decree No. PP-257 “On additional measures to increase the level of provision of the population with drinking water supply and sewerage services.”

The President, in order to further accelerate the ongoing work to improve providing the population of with clean, high-quality drinking water and sewerage services, as well as the creation of decent living conditions and protecting the health of citizens by expanding drinking water coverage of water supply and sewerage services, decrees that еру State Committee on Geology and Mineral Resources shall annually, before the end of the first quarter, elaborate and approve a list of territories with declining fresh groundwater resources; in territories with declining fresh groundwater resources, technical operation passports of boreholes shall be prepared free of charge for water users within one year.
