Presidential Decree No. PP-273 “On additional measures for the effective organization of the implementation of tasks defined in the Agriculture Development Strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2030.”

This Presidential Decree establishes that, within the framework of the Agriculture Development Strategy of the Republic Uzbekistan for 2020-2030, shall be put into operation: (a) in order to ensure food security of the population in Tashkent and Fergana regions with the involvement of the company "Atyab International Service" of the Sultanate of Oman shall be put into operation accredited for food safety, quality control and internationally recognized certification systems; (b) founded by the Ministry of Agriculture, shall be set up Kokandai International Institute of Food Technologies and Engineering, which is entrusted with the task of preparing highly qualified personnel capable of implementing quality standards (Global G.A.P, Organic, HACCP and others), recognized in international markets, at the level of international educational standards; (c) at least one agrologistics center shall be created in each region, granting the possibility to the applicants to obtain quality certificates recognized in international markets; and (d) information system "Agroplatform" (agroplatforma.uz) shall be set up in order to provide preferential loans to farmers for growing cotton, grain and other products, insurance, electronic execution of contracts, provision of equipment in leasing, provision and maintenance of ongoing agrotechnical activities according to the “single window” principle.
