Presidential Decree No. PP-431 “On measures to provide employment and increase income of the population, as well as effective use of agricultural land in Syrdarya region”.

The President, with a view of ensuring employment and increase income of the population, as well as effective use of agricultural land in Syrdarya region, determines the main directions of transformation of the Syrdarya region in 2023 into a “region whose population is fully employed” and development of the region at an accelerated pace as follows: (a) ensuring employment of the population by improving the business environment and supporting entrepreneurship in mahallas (local self-government); (b) expansion of production and development of trade and services by creating infrastructure conditions; and (c) creating new jobs and increasing agricultural production through the efficient use of land and water resources.
