Presidential Decree No. PP-5050 “On additional organizational measures to further improve the activities of internal affairs bodies to ensure public safety and combat crime.”

This Presidential Decree establishes that the Ministry of Interior must ensure implementation of the following arrangements: (a) full automation of the processes of ensuring strict discipline and the rule of law, prevention of corrupt practices, as well as supervision over convicts’ detention procedures in penitentiary institutions; (b) strengthening employees' ideological immunity against internal and external ideological threats and corruption, building a positive image of law enforcement agencies, as well as the development of their interaction with civil society institutions; and (c) teaching special courses on "The Clash of Geopolitical Interests and Ideological Struggle" and "Corruption: an Internal Ideological Battle" with a view to improve the ideological immunity of the Institute for Continuing Professional Development trainees.
