Resolution No. 12 of the State Committee on Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development validating the Regulation on the procedure for veterinary control of commodities imported to the Republic of Uzbekistan subject to veterinary inspection.

This Regulation applies to veterinary medicinal products (veterinary drugs) imported into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan goods under the control of the State Veterinary Service (controlled goods), exporting organizations and natural persons who manufacture, process and store thereof (foreign exporters) and determines the procedure for formation and keeping the register of veterinary drugs. The application for inclusion into the register veterinary drugs and exporters shall be submitted by the authorized state body. Veterinary inspection shall comply with legislative provisions in the field of veterinary medicine as well as the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) Terrestrial and Aquatic Animal Health Codes and Codex Alimentarius. The application for inclusion in the register must contain the following information: (a) the name of the foreign country exporting controlled goods; (b) official name of the responsible body, address (postal address, including e-mail address), telephone and fax numbers; (c) the name of the controlled commodity and the foreign economic activity code according to the commodity nomenclature of the Republic of Uzbekistan; (d) place of origin of controlled goods (e.g., province, state, province); and (e) official name of the foreign exporter, address (postal address, etc.), including e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, as well as of a foreign country identification number issued by the relevant authority.
