Abstract
This Resolution establishes that checks carried out by the competent authorities show that, despite the ban on the export of wheat, flour, rice and, especially, bakery products, there are attempts to export them from the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The State Customs Committee and its local divisions do not ensure control and suppression of such exports at the proper level. In order to strengthen control and prevent the export of wheat, flour, rice and, especially, bakery products, the Cabinet of Ministers decides: the State Customs Committee, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Border Troops of the State Security Service, shall take drastic operational measures to prevent and strictly suppress cases of export of wheat, flour, rice and, especially, bakery products at border railway and road crossings and bypass roads located along the perimeter of the State border of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall hold accountable, in accordance with legislative acts, persons identified while attempting to export wheat, flour, rice and, especially, bakery products.
