Abstract
The Cabinet of Ministers, for the purpose of saving potable water and natural gas, decrees that commissioning of newly built residential buildings and social and cultural facilities, starting from January 1, 1996, should be carried out only after the installation of water and gas meters of the consumers. Energy metering devices are counting devices that carry out direct quantitative accounting of the actual volume of water and gas passing through a cross-section of a pipeline, satisfying both parties (consumer and supplier) in terms of accuracy and stability of measurements of energy carriers (water, gas). Water and gas metering devices must have a scale expressed in units of measurement accepted in Uzbekistan, be produced in gradations necessary and sufficient to measure various quantitative flows, and meet the requirements of technical regulations or standards for safety, operation, maintainability, interchangeability, easy access to indicator devices. For each installed energy and water metering device, an individual project or a project for linking a repeated solution shall be developed.
