Resolution No. 293 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures for organizing modern agro-industrial cluster in Andijan region.”

The main tasks of agro-industrial cluster in Andijan region shall be as follows: (a) widespread introduction of modern methods of growing fruits and vegetables and other agricultural crops, scientific achievements and advanced innovative and water-saving technologies; (b) the use of effective methods and technologies for deep processing of fruits and vegetables, attracting foreign direct investment; (c) creation of a modern “in vitro” laboratory and nurseries for growing healthy fruit tree seedlings; (d) increasing export volumes through the production of competitive value-added products; and (e) increasing soil fertility and agricultural yields, rational and efficient use of land and implementation of measures for its protection.
