Resolution No. 315 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On deepening the integration of science with production in horticulture and viticulture.

The Cabinet of Ministers, in order to increase the independence of scientific departments in organizing research and implementing their results into production, achieving high final results, decrees to set up Scientific Research and Production Corporation for Horticulture, Viticulture and Winemaking under the Uzbek Academy of Agricultural Sciences by unification of different scientific research organizations in the field. Scientific Research and Production Corporation for Horticulture, Viticulture and Winemaking shall perform the following tasks: (a) increasing the level of scientific research, creating new highly productive varieties of fruit crops and grapes, developing and introducing effective technologies in horticulture, viticulture and winemaking; (b) stimulating the work of researchers, specialists and workers depending on their specific contribution to science and practice; and (c) cooperation with foreign countries in the field of scientific research and implementation of their developments.
