Resolution No. 408 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Procedure for power supply to pumping stations for the accumulation of water resources, irrigation of cropped areas and making payments for consumed electric energy.

The Cabinet of Ministers, in order to ensure uninterrupted power supply to pumping stations of the Ministry of Water Resources, intake and accumulation of water resources used for irrigation of crop areas, and payments for used electricity, decrees as follows: (a) the Ministry of Water Resources submits to the State Joint Stock Company "Uzbekenergo" a consolidated application for the supply of electricity for the next year, based on the average annual actual electricity consumption over the last 3 years and the need for additional pumping stations put into operation, broken down by quarter and by basin irrigation departments systems; and (b) the Ministry of Finance envisages in the national budget for the next year to allocate funds to the Ministry of Water Resources to pay for electricity in accordance with the electricity consumption limits allocated by the Ministry of Macroeconomic Statistics.
