Resolution No. 606 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures for further improvement of scientific activities in the field of fisheries.”

This Resolution approves proposals for establishing international cooperation with research institutions of the Research Institute of Fisheries in the system of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Innovative Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Uzbekbaliksanoat Association under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Research Institute of Fisheries shall perform the following priority tasks: (a) to determine strategic directions for research work in the fishing industry and topics for future research aimed at solving existing problems in the industry; (b) conducting scientific research on the rapid development of the fishing industry based on fundamental, practical and innovative projects within the framework of state scientific programs; (c) development of methodological and practical recommendations for selection and breeding work in the field, fish feeding, as well as the prevention and treatment of fish diseases; (d) large-scale introduction of innovative fishfarming methods based on intensive technologies, including in cage devices, closed circulating water supply systems, flowing reservoirs, irrigation networks and river banks; and (e) establishing international cooperation with leading research institutions of foreign countries on the development and implementation of new innovative technologies.
