Resolution No. 686 of the Cabinet of Ministers amending some legislative acts related to livestock breeding.

This Resolution expands the functions of the State Committee of Veterinary and Stockbreeding, adding the following ones: (a) controls the correctness of determining the quality (breeding) indicators of breeding animals supplied by breeding enterprises and farms; (b) controls the rational use of breeding animals, export and import of animals and their reproductive materials; (c) supervises the maintenance of reports on breeding activity in livestock farming; (d) controls the activities of livestock farming entities engaged in breeding activities, regardless of their form of ownership; (e) controls the zoning of livestock by breed; (f) controls the registration of breeding stock in breeding farms and assesses the quality of breeding resources used in the selection process by origin, productivity and type; (g) controls the allocation of land to livestock farms engaged in livestock breeding and their effective use, as well as the quality indicators of feed, husk and meal products produced by enterprises; (h) controls the production of reproductive material and the organization of its technological processes; and (i) supervises the systematic organization of the main tasks in the field of livestock farming and the local implementation of developed programs.
