Resolution No. 699 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On further improvement of the activities of the Research Institute of vegetables, commercial crops and potatoes.

This Resolution validates the constitution of Research Institute of vegetables, commercial crops and potatoes, assigning thereto the following main tasks: (a) creation of varieties, hybrid vegetables and potato crops suitable for local soil and climatic conditions, high-yielding, resistant to diseases and pests and with high quality indicators; (b) development of research work on the organization of primary sowing of vegetables and potatoes; (c) development and implementation of modern resource-saving technologies for growing vegetables and potatoes; (d) development of scientifically based recommendations for growing vegetables and potatoes, and increasing their productivity using advanced foreign experience; (e) training of scientists in the field of vegetable and potato growing, retraining of workers operating in the field, and organizing their training.
