Resolution No. 709 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating Regulations on lease of land plots for agricultural purposes.

Regulation on the procedure for secondary lease of agricultural land for the production of agricultural commodities to natural and legal persons. It shall be applicable to agricultural land plots leased by government bodies and organizations to legal entities and natural persons on the basis of an investment agreement or public-private partnership and transferred to them for use. The following land plots are not subject to secondary lease: (a) land plots provided to farms and household plots; (b) land provided for community gardening and horticulture; and (c) land plots intended for agriculture, leased and not put into operation on the basis of an investment agreement or public-private partnership. Regulation on the procedure for accounting for additional fees paid for the right to lease agricultural land, determining the timing of their collection and expenditure shall be applicable to the part of the additional payments calculated for the period of lease of the land plot based on the standard value of the land, sent to the Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Food within the Ministry of Agriculture to obtain the right to lease agricultural land. Regulation on the procedure for leasing vacant agricultural land through an online electronic auction establishes that agricultural land is sold at electronic Internet auctions on the basis of applications sent along with the land plot for planting same-type species, ensuring the integrity of the contour, divided into lots. According to the protocol, the winner of the online electronic auction will sign a land lease agreement within ten working days.
