Resolution No. 71 of the Cabinet of Ministers implementing Law No. ZRU-728 “On privatization of non-agricultural land.”

This Regulation determines the procedure for the provision of public services for the privatization of non-agricultural land plots owned by citizens and legal entities of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the right of permanent use (ownership), lease and inheritance. Unified Information System of Cadastre and Registration shall be intended an information system used by the Cadastre Agency under the State Tax Committee for recording real estate and state registration of rights to real estate. Privatization of a land plot shall be intended transfer of a land plot that is state-owned and not intended for agriculture to the ownership of citizens and (or) legal entities of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A non-agricultural land plot is a land plot that is not allocated for agricultural purposes and is not intended for these purposes. Applicants for the privatization of land plots shall apply personally to the Public Service Centers at the location of the land plot or register with the Public Services Center to use the public service in electronic form. A scanned copy of the following documentation must be attached to the application for privatization of a land plot: (a) power of attorney executed in the prescribed manner (in cases of application by the applicant’s representative); and (b) decision of the relevant governing body of a legal entity on the privatization of a land plot (of the applicant - if necessary, in accordance with the constituent documents of the legal entity). For the provision of public services, a fee of 10% of the basic calculation amount is charged.
