Resolution No. 720 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On additional measures to ensure effective and rational use of natural resources and increase in state budget revenue.”

In order to ensure the rational and efficient use of natural resources and their accurate accounting, as well as increasing revenues of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Cabinet of Ministers decides: (a) to introduce a procedure according to which all subsoil user organizations, once a year, shall draw up a survey report in accordance with the Annex on the volume of extracted minerals and submit it to the regional inspectorates for control of geological activities in accordance subordinate to the State Committee of Geology and Mineral Resources; (b) monitoring of the volumes of minerals actually extracted by subsoil users shall be performed no more than twice a year; and (c) control is carried out by visiting sites, objects and territories used by the taxpayer, with the participation of officials of the taxpayer or their representatives, by determining the volumes of extracted mineral resources and documenting them with an act (report).
