Resolution No. 76 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On constituting the JSC “Uzagrotrans” and measures for organizing its activities.

The Cabinet of Ministers, in order to reduce losses of fresh fruits and vegetables and other agricultural commodities, organization of specialized transportation in the system of the Uzplodoovoshvinprom association, by constituting JSC “Uzagrotrans”, decrees to assign thereto the following tasks: (a) concluding short-term and long-term contracts with agricultural enterprises, dekhkan (smallholding) farms for the transportation of fresh fruits and vegetables and other agricultural commodities; (b) comprehensive study of transport services markets and prospects for their development; (c) meeting the needs of the population and national economy for efficient road transport; and (c) establishment and development of mutually beneficial foreign economic relations that help attract foreign investment, and performance of road transport abroad.
