Resolution No. 99 amending Government Resolution No. 737 of September 2019 on Improvement of the environmental monitoring system in Uzbekistan.

Government Resolution No. 737 of September 2019 on Improvement of the environmental monitoring system in Uzbekistan shall be amended to add the following wording: “The list of business entities subject to monitoring of pollution sources is compiled by the State Committee for Ecology on the basis of information from the territorial bodies of the State Committee for Ecology (submitted for information to the representative for the protection of rights and legitimate interests of business entities under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan) and is subject to approval. Obstruction of the legitimate activities of a state inspector, as well as failure to comply with his instructions, is the basis for liability provided for in Article 197 6 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Every three years, the State Committee for Ecology issues a national report on the state of the environment and the use of natural resources in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
