Abstract
These By-laws of the Chateaubelair Town Board, made under the Local Government Act, provides rules relating to the operation and management of the local market, and in particular to the sale of fresh meat and fish and the slaughtering of animals. No person shall slaughter any animal for the purpose of selling the carcass or sell meat, fish, whalemeat or turtle within (a certain range of) the Chateaubelair Town, except on the market or a place approved by the Town Board.
