Abstract
The Act makes provision for the definition of Internal Waters (sec.3), the Archipelagic Waters (sec.4), the territorial sea (sec.5), the Contiguous Zone (sec.6), the Exclusive Economic Zone (sec.7), and the Continental Shelf (sec.8). Provisions of sections 10-22 specify for each of these maritime areas sovereign rights, prohibited and allowed activities, and regulation making powers of the Minister. (23 sections)
