Abstract
This Children Law establishes a comprehensive legal framework to protect children's rights, promote their well-being, and prevent abuse and exploitation. It mandates responsibilities for families, schools, and government agencies to create a safe and supportive environment for children.
The Law recognizes several fundamental rights of children, including: right to life and development, right to social security, etc.
Article 6 prohibits discrimination against children based on personal characteristics, family background, gender, race, nationality, belief, or religion. Article 43 provides for policy guarantee of children's healthcare, especially for disadvantaged children, children of poor and near-poor households, ethnic minority children and children who are living at border regions, mountainous regions, islands and regions with extremely difficult socio-economic conditions.
