Decision on agricultural extension.

The State shall establish a national network of extension in the agriculture sector (agriculture, forestry, fishery) in order to assist farmers to extend their production, increase agricultural production, and develop the socio-economic situation in rural areas. Agriculture extension shall consist of the activities listed in article 3. The system of agricultural extension shall be organized from the central level to the local level as provided for in articles 4-6. Sources of funds and what they shall be used for are specified in articles 7-9. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry together with the Ministry of Forestry, the Ministry of Marine Products, and the Government Department for Organisation and Personnel shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decision.
