Abstract
This Decision provides for the adoption of urgent measures to control antibiotic and chemical residues in seafood exports to Japan.
Only enterprises which meet food safety requirements of the Ministry of Fisheries shall be allowed to export seafood to Japan. The Decision further specifies the cases in which enterprises may not export crustacean and mollusc shipments to Japan. The authority in charge of implementing this Decision shall be the National Fisheries Quality Assurance and Veterinary Directorate.

This Decision replaces the Fisheries Minister’s Decision No. 1052/QD-BTS of 14 September 2006 on the increase of examination of seafood exports to Japan.
