Decision No. 34/2005/QD-TTg promulgating the Government's action program for implementation of the Politburo's Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW on environmental protection in the period of accelerated national industrialization and modernization.

This Government's action program provides for the prevention and mitigation of environmental pollution, degradation and incidents, the restoration of the environment quality and the management of environmental protection. Provisions will be made to accelerate international cooperation on environmental protection, control and manage waste matters, to conserve and protect biodiversity, to efficiently exploit and use natural resources, etc. Ministries and Committees responsible for the implementation of this action program are specified in part III.
