Decision No. 39/2012/QD-TTg promulgating the Regulation on management of ornamental trees, shade trees and secular trees.

This Regulation provides for the transportation, storage, trade, export, import and transfer of ornamental trees, shade trees and secular trees.
The Regulation sets out procedures and requirements to request to the competent agencies a certification of origin of ornamental, shade and secular trees and provides for dossiers ned for their domestic transportation, storage or trade.
In addition, the Regulation allows the import or export of ornamental, shade and secular trees if the owners produce original quarantine certificates and original CITES permits for plant species on the lists in CITES Appendices I and II.
