Decision No. 72/2004/QD-BNN promulgating the Regulation on management of fertilizer production, trading and use.

This Regulation provides for the production, trading and use of fertilizers, the publication of lists of fertilizers permitted for production, trading and use in Vietnam, and the assignment of responsibilities for fertilizer management. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shall publicize the fertilizer list which shall include fertilizers specified in Section II. Conditions for production of assorted inorganic and organic fertilizers are specified in Section III. The import of raw materials for fertilizer production or the import of new fertilizers not included on the fertilizer list must be approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as specified in Section IV.
