Decree No. 13/2001/ND-CP on the protection of new plant varieties.

This Decree states the rules and obligations for the protection of new plant varieties (the definition of the term as per art.2), for the protection of rights of organizations both domestic and international and for individuals dealing with new plant varieties in terms of selection, creation and use of the aforesaid varieties. It regulates also the procedures to grant protection to plant varieties and organizations/individuals entitled to protection, and decrees also the suspension and cancellation of protection for those subjects.
