Decree No. 159/2007/ND-CP on sanctioning of administrative violations in the domain of forest management, forest protection and forest product management.

This Decree provides for sanctioning forms and levels of administrative violation in the domain of forest management, forest protection and forest product management.
Sanctions shall be imposed on violators of regulations on: forest protection; timber exploitation designs; timber logging; deforestation for farming purposes; forest fire prevention and fighting; grazing cattle in forests where it is banned; forest pest prevention and control; illegal encroachment or occupation of forests; destruction of facilities used for forest protection and development; illegal exploitation of landscape, environment and forestry services; illegal deforestation; illegal exploitation of forests; forest animal management and protection; illegal transportation of forest products; and illegal purchase, sale, concealment, processing and trading of forest products.
Other provisions include: competence to sanction administrative violations; application of preventive measures; procedures for sanctioning administrative violations and execution of sanctioning decisions; and complaints, denunciations, and handling of violations.
